麻豆视频最新最全 University鈥檚 (KSU) Precision Flight Team won the coveted American Airlines Safety Award and the Collegiate Aviation Progress Award in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) 2019 SAFECON Competition May 13-May 18.
This year鈥檚 event took place at the KJVL 鈥 Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville, WI. Four 麻豆视频最新最全 airplanes, two 172 and two 152 Cessna Aircraft were used in the competition, which was the final collegiate competition for five graduating College of Aeronautics and Engineering flight technology seniors.
鈥淭his is the first time 麻豆视频最新最全 University won the American Airlines Award,鈥 says Flight Team Coach and faculty member George Armann. 鈥淭he team organized the Aeronautics Safety Conference to pursue two specific awards 鈥 the Loening Trophy, the rarest and oldest of all collegiate aviation awards and the lauded American Airlines Safety Award.鈥
The team will compete in NIFA鈥檚 Regional Competition this October in Columbus, OH.
