Commencement Ceremonies Held on Salem Campus

Caps and Gowns Commencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the �鶹��Ƶ��ȫ Salem Campus. Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the �鶹��Ƶ��ȫ Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Celeste Oprean, assistant dean for the Salem Campus.

Students speakers Devyn Rothbrust and Lisa Kesseg The keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, State Representative for the 5^th Ohio House District.

Student speakers included Lisa Kesseg of the Insurance Studies program and Devyn Rothbrust of the Horticulture program.

Nearly 400 degrees were awarded this semester between the �鶹��Ƶ��ȫ Salem and East Liverpool campuses. All Smiles

Salem BSN Students Prepare for Learning in Clinical Settings

�鶹��Ƶ��ȫ at Salem held its White Coat Ceremony for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, signifying a rite of passage as they transition into the nursing field.

�鶹��Ƶ��ȫ Salem Announces President’s, Dean’s Lists

Denise A. Seachrist, Ph.D., dean and chief administrative officer of �鶹��Ƶ��ȫ University at Salem, announced those students named to the Fall 2024 President’s and Dean’s lists. To qualify for the President’s List, students must have a 4.0 grade point average and must have completed 15 hours during the semester. To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a 3.40 or greater grade point average and must have completed 12 or more credit hours for the semester, the majority at the Salem Campus.
