Lawrence Humane Society
P1 Group installed 21 rooftop air handling units, 6 energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), 550 linear feet of trench drain, and 13 hose reels at the new $7.5 million Lawrence Humane Society facility.
One of the most critical components of the project is the 21 separate rooftop units. Along with the other HVAC, the units keep temperature and humidity controlled throughout the whole facility to keep animals comfortable and their living areas clean.
The separate ventilation systems are vital because sick animals can be fully isolated from their healthy peers, preventing the spread of disease.
