MASTER OF LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE STUDENTS RECOGNIZED BY THE OHIO CHAPTER ASLA; 麻豆视频最新最全 News; September 3, 2020

We are proud to announce that two of our Master of Landscape Architecture students have been recognized by the Ohio Chapter ASLA. The two faculty nominated students presented to a Zoom Jury in April to three ASLA professionals. They will be recognized at the Ohio ASLA Annual Meeting and Gala that will be held (tentatively) in October.

MACI NELSON

Maci Nelson (MLA20), was awarded the Ohio ASLA Student Honor Award, Jury comment 鈥background led to her passions in design of accessibility, communication, multimedia representation, culture, and community. Her projects represented, design integrity and intent of inclusion beyond just regulations. Clear communication and understanding of detail from detail level to master planning with a successful effect.鈥   Maci Nelson鈥檚 spring 2020 studio 06 advanced vertical studio project titled 鈥(Re)Forest City: Canopy infill for climate justice in Cleveland鈥 examines a canopy infill strategy through the use of floriculture and silviculture industries to stabilize the local economy and mitigate UHI impacts on the Kirtland Park Neighborhood.  Taught by Professor Marshall.

NICOLE TRAPP

Nicole Trapp (MLA21), was awarded the Ohio ASLA Student Honor Award, Jury comment 鈥Clear and attractive graphics and diagrams. Great research behind projects and implementing solutions into the design, using that research. Nicole Trapp鈥檚 spring 2020 studio 04 advanced vertical studio project titled 鈥Waterworks & Carbon Forests鈥 examines a green(er) infrastructure system for the City of Cleveland, by Nicole Trapp MLA2021鈥 Studio 04 The advanced vertical studio 鈥淐ity of Cleveland Design Strategies鈥 taught by Professor Marshall.
