Lauren Copeland understands the importance of becoming familiar with artificial intelligence – and balancing technology with human thought and creativity – to train students to be confident in their skills and what they can provide to the industry. Her Fashion Fundamentals class was recently tasked with creating shoe designs using an AI platform.

Piano Cleveland has announced its collaboration with the �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University College of the Arts in creating a new Arts Entrepreneurship Residency Program designed to help emerging artists develop an entrepreneurial mindset to enhance their careers.

In April 2025, the iconic designer will be recognized as the 2025 inductee of �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University’s School of Fashion Hall of Fame, which Pliner considers the highest honor of his life. Joining Pliner at his induction ceremony will be his wife, muse and design partner, Lisa, who has been by his side for the past 28 years. 

Dance students recently had the unique opportunity to travel to Thailand as part of the East Meets West study abroad program. This artistic collaboration engages diverse educational experiences and turns students into global citizens for the 21^st century. While in Thailand, students learn and perform with dancers across the world.

Porthouse Theatre, �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University’s outdoor summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, invites you to its season of tradition, beginning on June 13, 2025. In its 57th season, Porthouse Theatre will present “Fiddler on the Roof,” “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” and “School of Rock” in the summer of 2025. 

In November, multi-disciplinary artist Stephanie J. Woods visited campus as part of the 2024 Curlee Raven Holton & Raven Fine Art Editions Distinguished Art Fellowship. 

The �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University Museum is pleased to announce its spring exhibition, “John Paul Morabito: Madonna dei Femminellə”, a solo exhibition by the head of the textiles program at �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University’s School of Art. Consistent with the �鶹��Ƶ������ȫ University (KSU) Museum’s mission to showcase exceptional textile art and to inspire the next generation of artists, the exhibition includes fourteen woven tapestries by Morabito, displayed in the museum’s historic Higbee Gallery.
