Fellow KSUCPM Alumni,
As you may already know, recruiting future podiatric physicians has become increasingly challenging. Profession awareness remains a significant barrier, and we continue to face obstacles such as smaller application pools and competing offers from other expanding medical disciplines. In response, KSUCPM has embraced AACPM’s advice to "take the Feet on the Street”, actively partnering with dedicated DPMs like you to bring hands-on workshops, case study discussions, and real-world insights to recruitment events across the country.
This program is packing meaningful impact already. Just this cycle, a University of Dayton applicant shared that his passion for podiatric medicine was sparked by a DPM-led presentation he attended last year. This is proof that your involvement makes a difference. The future of our profession depends not only on the efforts of the admissions office but also on experts like you who can inspire the next generation.
Every effort, big or small, creates momentum, and that momentum leads to powerful, lasting change. If you’d like to join us in this effort, I’d be happy to acquaint you with our Office of Admissions to explore collaboration opportunities. We’re here to provide you with the proper resources and work with you every step of the way!
