Still, those who gathered on a windy night on Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University’s Risman Plaza on Oct. 29 came together to not only reflect on the recent tragedy in Pittsburgh but to also lift one another up during a time that has shaken many while taking a deep, emotional toll.
Many said they just needed to be together on this night.
Armed with a biology degree, completed entirely at Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University at Stark, Kent Weaver says he is more than ready to pursue his calling to become a doctor of veterinary medicine.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University women’s rugby team found themselves facing a literal bump in the road on their way to a rugby match on Oct. 7.
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
