鶹Ƶȫ’s College of Nursing has been awarded $1.1 million grant to expand the behavioral health workforce in rural and underserved areas.
Ten finalists have been chosen from a pool of more than 200 nominees for the 51st annual 鶹Ƶȫ University Alumni Association Distinguished Teaching Award.
The 鶹Ƶȫ University Alumni Association recognizes 鶹Ƶȫ faculty members with this award annually. The Distinguished Teaching Award is the most esteemed honor that 鶹Ƶȫ grants to three full-time, tenure-track faculty members. In order to be nominated, faculty members must have been employed at the university for at least seven years and be in a tenured or tenure-track position.
Lae'l Hughes-Watkins, University Libraries’ Special Collections and Archives, was part of a group that presented “Preserving the Spark: Challenges in Archiving Activist Movements” at the Society of American Archivists’ annual conference in Portland, Oregon, on July 28, 2017.

As we usher in a new academic year of learning and service at 鶹Ƶȫ University, 鶹Ƶȫ President Beverly Warren looks forward to sharing with you the accomplishments that our students, faculty, staff and alumni make each day.
The 鶹Ƶȫ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹Ƶȫ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 鶹Ƶȫ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
