Peggy Nzomo, University Libraries, is the 2016 recipient of the American Library Association (ALA) International Relations Committee’s “Bogle-Pratt International Library Travel Fund.” She received this award at the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress held Aug. 13-19 in Columbus, Ohio. She also was one of 50 librarians who received the 2016 IFLA Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Fellows scholarship.

鶹Ƶȫ archaeologist Metin Eren, Ph.D, is using an experimental approach to dig deeper into Ohio's history by recreating ancient artifacts and weaponry with clay to better understand how humans lived thousands of years ago.
On Thursday, April 20, from noon-1 p.m., the Employee Wellness program will sponsor a lunchtime program titled&Բ;“The Power of This Moment.” All full- and part-time employees are invited to participate in this workshop that will explore how the brain’s reticular system affects perceptions. We also will consider history, concepts and practical applications to help facilitate in the moment living.
With more than 800 鶹Ƶȫ University faculty and staff already part of the On The Move Challenge, we have room for more and have extended the registration period, added a “refer a co-worker” incentive and encourage everyone to take a little time to invest in
Beginning July 1, 鶹Ƶȫ University will become a smoke-free, tobacco-free campus. The new policy is part of the university’s healthy campus initiative, 鶹Ƶȫ of Wellness.
The 鶹Ƶȫ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹Ƶȫ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 鶹Ƶȫ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
