Peggy Nzomo, University Libraries, is the 2016 recipient of the American Library Association (ALA) International Relations Committee’s “Bogle-Pratt International Library Travel Fund.” She received this award at the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) World Library and Information Congress held Aug. 13-19 in Columbus, Ohio. She also was one of 50 librarians who received the 2016 IFLA Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Fellows scholarship.

Earlier this spring, the university announced the 鶹Ƶȫ University Web Redesign initiative and next steps that would serve as the springboard for launching the new site, which will more closely align with the university’s new brand.

University Health Services has announced a new schedule for fall, which includes extended hours on Mondays and Tuesdays. University Health Services will no longer offer extended hours on Thursdays because of low demand for appointments. The updated schedule is below:

Add your event to the calendar. 鶹Ƶȫ University’s Office of Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services will host several events during the month of October in conjunction with other offices on campus. We want to support your event, too.
The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced 鶹Ƶȫ's as its male recipient of the 2016 Bob James Memorial Scholarship Award. Voted upon by the league's faculty athletics representatives, Italiano will receive a $5,000 postgraduate scholarship.

鶹Ƶȫ University at Tuscarawas will feature four area artists in its Performing Arts Center’s printed performance programs for the 2016-17 season that runs from September 2016 through June 2017.

Trevor Watkins, University Libraries, presented “Intelligent Peer-to-Peer Mesh Satellite-Extraterrestrial Deep Space Network: Interplanetary Communication and Data Collection Based on Semantic Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm Using Autonomous Cooperative Agents” at the Second International Conference and Exhibition on Satellite and Space Missions in Berlin, Germany, on July 22, 2016.
The 鶹Ƶȫ University Board of Trustees today established a comprehensive, national search to recruit and select the university’s 13th president.
The events of May 4, 1970, placed 鶹Ƶȫ University in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 鶹Ƶȫ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
