Sixteen years later, Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« alumna Emilia Sykes, a native of Akron, Ohio, was elected to represent the same district, making her the first Black Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« alum to serve in the House of Representatives.
