Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University invites all to pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and attend the university’s annual Veterans Day Commemoration. The event will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at the Student Green on the Kent Campus.

SURE Fellows Present Eight Weeks of Research in Three Minutes and a Slide
On Oct. 21-22 the 178 students who conducted research under the direction of faculty mentors had to condense eight weeks of research down to three minutes and a slide. The winners were announced on Oct. 25 during a ceremony at the Kiva auditorium.

At the time, it seemed an incredibly daunting task, until Ambassador Edward F. Crawford and his family stepped in to complete the college’s capital campaign with the largest single gift in Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University history.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University's Surplus Store, located on E.Main Street offers a variety of useful items including furniture, electronics, office supplies and a fascinating selection of antique maps and books, with many books that are more than 100 years old. The store is a reflection of Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ«'s commitment to sustainable practices and disposing of items that are no longer needed by the university.
