Every year, thousands of Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University students navigate the off-campus housing market. As a college town, Kent has no shortage of options. But what should students expect? The search for student housing can be overwhelming if you don’t know where to start. Luckily, Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« Today has done some legwork for you.
First-year students in the Provost Leadership Academy are asked to look at Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« through a critical lens, with an eye toward how they would change or improve some aspect of university life. Here are some of the ideas being considered.
On Feb. 1, more than 250 guests gathered to recognize the 55th anniversary of Black History Month at Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University, which was first established by the student organization Black United Students (BUS) in 1970 and was recognized nationwide by President Gerald Ford in 1976.
The Red Dress Gala is the Flashes Activity Board's spring semester dance. It will be held in the Kent Student Center Ballroom on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 7-9 p.m. Tickets are available Jan. 20-Feb. 6.
