May Is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month: A Time for Celebration and Education
In 1977, the U.S. government established a time to recognize Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders and their accomplishments. The commemoration started as a week but in the 1990s evolved into a monthlong celebration.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« University Board of Trustees approved the updated Â鶹ÊÓƵ×îÐÂ×îÈ« Complete College Ohio Campus Completion Plan as part of a state and institutional commitment to increase dramatically the number of college degrees awarded in Ohio. The plan was approved during the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held May 22.
